This barber shop and pool room, owned by Lee Gardner and Menzo LaPorte, was located at 4866 Rainier Avenue from 1908 to 1923. The AYP refers to the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition, which took place on the University of Washington campus in 1909.
