    Paschall describes of the construction progress at Kitsap Cabin, the surrounding nature and his honorary induction into the Mountaineers club. Paschall writes "The current news about Kitsap Cabin is that lots of work is in progress. The spring clean-up of the grounds is going forward. Rakes and brooms have been used with good effect. Shelters of various kinds are in the course of construction. The ancient farm house is disintegrating, so to speak; yielding material for present day purposes. Women's quarters is (or are) undergoing improvement. A large new shelter shed for men is a approaching completion. Sundry individual Mountaineers are seeking locations for week-end habitations. Otto Voll's small castle, overlooking Hidden Ranch is nearly ready for occupancy. Dr. and Mrs. Bowman have chosen a spot that commands an even better view of the valley.
