  • Handwritten on verso: June-July-August 1899. Lawrie Lindsley blacksmithing on Old Snoqualmie Road about four miles east of old 15 Mile Bridge. We worked repairing the road from South end of Lake Keechelus to foot of Grouse Ridge about three miles east of North Bend. My grandfather D.T. Denny was supervisor of the work. We worked repairing the road from South end of Lake Keechelus to foot of Grouse Ridge about three miles east of North Bend. My grandfather D.T. Denny was supervisor of the work. Grandpa came to the mines when work was finished at foot of Grouse Ridge.
