Bigelow, G.A.
A postcard showing the Wachusett House Hotel as seen from the town common in Princeton, Massachusetts. Guests on the porch watch the preparation for games of croquet and lawn tennis, favorite pastimes for the summer tourists who visited Mount Wachusett in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Wachusett House was located on the southern end of the Princeton Town Common on what is now Dingman Park. On November 28, 1910, the Wachusett House was destroyed in a fire and was never rebuilt.
