    Excerpt from the "Proceedings of the Central Labor Council: March 3, 1915 to May 25, 1921". These are the minutes of the Seattle Central Labor Council's meeting on March 5, 1919. The minutes list a large number of communications received from many individuals and organizations, including a request that the council place the Bon Marche on the "unfair list", which is referred to the Council's Executive Board. After listing the bills due that week and the new delegates presenting their credentials to the Council, the Council handles the week's business. The Produce Workers present a resolution asking the Council's condemnation of the selection of "Reds" as delegates representing local unions -- after a long debate in which concern is expressed that "we were following the instruction of the Chamber of Commerce and Ole Hanson to 'Clean House', the resolution was voted down overwhelmingly."
