A letter from Massachusetts Governor Edward Everett to Edward Hitchcock about the printing of a message that was communicated to the Massachusetts Senate and House of Representatives regarding Hitchcock's geological survey report. Everett also notes an error in language made by the printer. The referenced message is enclosed. The message was originally communicated to the legislature during the session held January-April 1838.
