The original finding aid described this as: Description: Photographic documentation of Commander James Wetherbee working with the Radiation Monitoring Equipment-III (RME-III) on the Space Shuttle Discovery's SPACEHAB during STS-63. The RME-III microdosimeter was designed to display and record the dose rate and total accumulated dosage of the STS-63 crew's exposure to ionizing radiation at different locations in Discovery's crew compartment.
