LGBT movements undertake a wide variety of political action and cultural activities, reflecting their varying goals as well as differing viewpoints and strategies.  These may include demonstrations, marches, and lobbying; groups and events supporting community development; publication of magazines, films, and literature; academic work; and other activities.  Also, there are opponents of LBGT rights and acceptance that employ their own activist approaches.
