Open Call for The Palace Project pilot program + Collaborating for Access webinar

Last year we announced the launch of The Palace Project, a new, non-profit ebook platform that allows libraries to serve content from any vendor to their patrons. The Palace Project is now seeking five public and five state libraries to take part in a two-year pilot program funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Participating libraries will have access to a virtual library card service, as well as a collection of more than 11,000 open access ebooks and $25,000 worth of licensed ebook and audiobook titles from The Palace Marketplace. Patrons will be able to sign up for a free virtual library card and access titles through the Palace app on iOS and Android. The service will include analytics, technical support, staff training, and patron outreach. You can learn more here.
